Make Thanksgiving craft time more creative with this Design Your Own Thanksgiving Craft Printable Pack! This 6-page set includes bold, simple Thanksgiving templates with large open spaces that children can decorate in many different ways using art and craft materials.

The pack includes Turkey, Roasted Turkey, Pumpkin Pie, Corn, Pilgrim Hat and Thanksgiving Wreath designs. Each page can be used again with a different technique, making this a versatile activity set for classrooms, homeschool, art centers, Thanksgiving parties, November activities and seasonal craft time.

6 THANKSGIVING DESIGNS INCLUDED

Turkey – A large turkey with open tail feathers, wings and body. Decorate it with tissue paper, torn paper, play dough, dot markers, pom-poms, foam shapes, paint, crayons, markers or other collage materials.

Roasted Turkey – A Thanksgiving dinner-themed template that works beautifully with finger painting, Q-tip painting, sponge painting, dot markers, coloring, torn paper and mixed-media craft materials.

Pumpkin Pie – Create a textured pumpkin pie using cotton balls for the whipped cream, torn or crepe paper for the filling, kraft paper for the crust, or use paint, crayons, markers, stickers and other materials.

Corn – Fill the corn kernels with yellow pom-poms, tissue-paper balls, dot markers, fingerprints, play dough pieces, paper dots or coloring materials. The husks can be colored, painted or collaged in green shades.

Pilgrim Hat – Decorate the large hat sections with torn paper, construction paper, foam shapes, tissue paper, stickers, paint, crayons, markers or play dough. The buckle can be highlighted with yellow or gold craft materials.

Thanksgiving Wreath – Add yarn, tissue paper, pom-poms, torn paper, foam pieces, stickers, paint, coloring materials or fingerprints around the wreath to create a unique seasonal decoration.

SO MANY FUN WAYS TO CREATE

Tissue Paper Craft
Tear, cut, scrunch or layer small tissue-paper pieces onto the templates. Warm Thanksgiving shades such as orange, yellow, red, brown, burgundy and green work especially well.

Pom-Pom Craft
Glue small pom-poms onto the pages for a soft 3D craft. They are especially fun for corn kernels, turkey feathers and wreath decorations.

Yarn Craft
Cut yarn into short pieces, loops or small bundles and glue them onto the templates. Use fall-colored yarn to add texture to the turkey, wreath or other designs.

Cotton Ball Craft
Use whole cotton balls or gently pull them apart for a fluffy texture. They work especially well for the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie.

Foam Shapes Craft
Add foam circles, stars, leaves, hearts, squares or other small shapes to create colorful textured designs.

Play Dough Activity
Press small play dough balls, flattened pieces, coils or patches onto the templates. For reusable play dough mats, laminate the pages or place them inside protective sleeves.

Coloring Activity
Use crayons, colored pencils or markers to color the templates. Children can use traditional Thanksgiving colors or create their own combinations.

Torn Paper Craft
Tear construction paper, kraft paper, crepe paper or other colored paper into small pieces and glue them inside the shapes to create a simple collage or mosaic.

Finger Paint Activity
Use washable finger paint to create fingerprints, fingertip dots or small paint marks. This works especially well on the roasted turkey, turkey feathers, corn and wreath.

Dot Marker / Do-a-Dot Activity
Use dot markers or bingo daubers to stamp colorful dots inside the large open areas. The turkey, corn, pilgrim hat and wreath work especially well for this technique.

Q-Tip Painting
Dip cotton swabs into washable paint to create small dots, patterns and lines. This is a fun option for corn kernels, turkey feathers and wreath decorations.

Sponge Painting
Use small sponge pieces to dab paint inside the designs and create textured blocks of Thanksgiving color.

Paint Brush Activity
Decorate the templates with washable tempera paint or other child-friendly paints using brushes.

Watercolor Painting
Use watercolor paints for a softer Thanksgiving look. The large sections give children plenty of room to experiment with blending colors.

Stamp Painting
Use craft stamps, sponge stamps or simple homemade stamps to create repeated shapes and patterns across the templates.

Sticker Collage
Add dot stickers, fall stickers, leaf stickers or foam stickers for an easy, low-mess craft activity.

Paper Mosaic Activity
Cut or tear colored paper into small pieces or squares and arrange them inside the template like a mosaic.

Hole-Punch Paper Dots
Create small paper circles with a hole punch and glue them onto the designs. These are especially fun for corn kernels and turkey feathers.

Crayon Resist Activity
Draw patterns or colors with crayons first, then paint lightly over the page with watercolor to reveal a crayon-resist effect.

Pattern Drawing
Fill each section with dots, stripes, zigzags, swirls, checks or other simple patterns using crayons or markers.

Dry-Erase Activity
Laminate the pages or place them inside reusable sleeves and decorate with dry-erase markers. Wipe clean and use again.
